The Ohio Innovation Exchange (OIEx)

Ohio Innovation Exchange

The Ohio Department of Higher Education’s new Ohio Innovation Exchange (OIEx) promotes Ohio’s university-based research activities, professors and resources to a larger industry base, making it easier for businesses to find and partner with the state’s leading academics. From research partnerships, intellectual property and technology licensing opportunities, to business development and even student internships, OIEx fosters economic development and intellectual advancement across Ohio and the globe.

Corporate Engagement

Are you an Ohio State employee wondering whom else within the university is working with a company? The Corporate Engagement Search Portal can help you build a strategy team for robust industry relationships. The pilot database pulls together internal contact information from four corporate facing units across campus: PI Portal (sponsored program officers), Technology Commercialization Office (licensing managers), University Purchasing (commodity managers) and the Advancement System (prospect managers).

Contact Amy Spellacy to request access or more information. [Note: Completion of Ohio State’s Institutional Data Policy training is required for access.]
